The Office of Her Excellency the Governor of the Cayman Islands, in partnership with the Cayman Society of Architects, Surveyors and Engineers (CASE) and the Cayman Contractors Association (CCA), is proud to announce the launch of the 2025 Governor’s Award for Design and Construction Excellence in the Cayman Islands.
This distinguished award, conferred by the Governor, seeks to recognise, encourage, and uphold the highest standards of design innovation, sustainability, and construction excellence within the Cayman Islands’ built environment.

Nominations
Nominations are now open for the 2025 Governor’s Award for Design and Construction Excellence in the Cayman Islands, established by the Office of Her Excellency Jane Owen. Entrants are required to submit a completed Nomination Form together with a PowerPoint presentation prepared using the official template. The presentation should clearly and succinctly demonstrate how the project meets the Award’s judging criteria, which include design excellence, innovation, value, buildability, and cultural response.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, 07 November 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
CASE
Cayman Society of Architects, Surveyors & Engineers (CASE) is the Society that oversees professional development within the Design and Construction industries in the Cayman Islands. CCA
The Cayman Contractors Association (CCA) is a self-regulating organisation. It was established to uphold consistent ethical standards within the construction sector and to reassure prospective clients that, should a CCA member be selected for a project, the outcome would be successful.
